About BLS

Built by builders who have been through the licensing process first-hand.

BLS was founded by builders who know what it is like to have real experience and still get stuck on the paperwork. We organise the licence class, evidence, application and any genuine RPL steps so the process does not take over your work or family time. We started with the QBCC in Queensland and now support applications in every Australian state and territory.

Who we are

Application support built from the building side.

BLS brings builder experience and application specialists together to make licensing paperwork clearer, more organised and easier to move forward.

Why BLS started

Going through the process personally—and then alongside other builders and trades—made one thing clear: years of real work do not automatically turn into a clear application.

The hard part is finding the right class, proving the experience and keeping the forms, referees, qualifications and RPL questions moving in the right order while work and family life continue. BLS was built to carry that part of the job.

What BLS brings to the job

BLS brings together people who understand licensing, evidence, application documents and the practical questions around RPL. Your specialist keeps the work organised and makes the next step clear.

The aim is simple: respect the experience behind the application, do the paperwork properly and keep you clear on what happens next.

How we think

Capable people should not have to guess their way through the application.

We respect the work you already know, confirm the licence first and only add RPL or training when the application genuinely needs it.

Respect the experience

We do not talk to capable trades and builders like they are starting from zero. The job is to help turn real experience into an application that makes sense.

Start with the licence you need

Forms, paperwork and RPL should follow the licence you actually need. They should not drive it.

RPL only where it fits

RPL can be useful, but it is not the whole application. We only bring it forward where a genuine qualification gap needs attention.

Be clear about what we control

We build the strongest accurate application we can. The regulator makes the final licence decision.

A straight answer

The strongest application we can prepare. No shortcuts or course-first pressure.

We focus on what we can control: the right class, clear evidence and properly prepared application material. BLS is independent from state building regulators, which make the final licence decisions.
